We were asked to create and to realise an global institutional advertising campaign. Goal of researches was to establish a graphic identity that make sens and is relative to the chosen country’s floks, arts, hobbits… Here I chosen Norway because it’s a country I love. And to represent it with their passion in the art of embroidery.
So I made six posters, a web-site, and a video teaser using codes of Hardanger embroidery, with the flowers you can see as a decorative piece. To do it, I firstly made some illustrations and researches by hand. Then I digitized, cleaned, and re-worked them with my computer. These beautiful posters were made last year for a festival held in France dedicated to Norway which ran for an entire month covering nearly everything there is to appreciate about the beautiful country! I love the artists creative use of colour, and their interesting take on Hardanger embroidery. These posters are stunning without a doubt.
man, these are just goddamn awesome.
